About me
Welcome to my Web page. I have been a physician at Kaiser Permanente, in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, since 1990. My subspecialty training is in perinatology, the area of obstetrics dealing with complicated pregnancies.
Biography
I was raised in Southern California, but did most of my medical training in the Northeast. It was there that I met my husband, a Boston native, who jumped at the opportunity to move to sunny Southern California. We currently live with our teenage son and yellow Labradors.
About my practice
When patients are identified as having a complication of pregnancy, they are referred to the high-risk obstetrics team. Our team currently consists of two physicians and three midwives. Patients may be referred to us for prenatal diagnosis, a preexisting medical condition, or because a problem arises during pregnancy. We understand that our patients may be very anxious; we are committed to caring for both their emotional and physical needs. Be assured that our goal is to care for all our patients to achieve a healthy pregnancy.
How I thrive
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, riding my horse, reading, gardening, and practicing Pilates and yoga.
