Welcome to my Web Page! Thank you for taking the time to read more about me and my practice here at Kaiser Permanente Orange County. I feel very privileged to be able to practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife here with Kaiser and work with woman throughout their life. I often find myself saying I love my job!
Biography
I live in Southern Orange County with my amazing family. I am so blessed to have met and married my high school sweetheart. We have two amazing children. I love being a midwife and love being a mother. I am right in the thick of motherhood with sports, diaper changes, late night bottles, and all the joys and challenges that come along with it. And I love being able to share this stage of motherhood with my patients.
About my practice
I have the privileged of taking care of women throughout their life, from teens to women enjoying their retired years. The highlight of my practice is seeing women year after year for well woman visits and catching up on their life (jobs, new babies, new adventures, grandchildren). I also love taking care of women during their pregnancy. It is an amazing time in a woman's life and I feel blessed that a woman would walk that journey with me as their midwife, it is a great honor. I love to sit and laugh with my patients or pass the Kleenex box and cry when life hasn't gone as planned. I have walked the difficult journey as a patient of a complicated pregnancy and also the challenges of being an adoptive mother.
How I thrive
I love the outdoors. You will frequently find my family at the park, beach and recently out at the harbor doing stand-up paddle boarding. I also love photography and being a mother.

My training and certification
Medical training
I received my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Biola University. After graduation I started my nursing career at UCLA in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. After working as an RN at UCLA, I returned to school at Cal State University, Fullerton and received my Master's in Science in Nursing with a emphasis in Women's Health and became licensed as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Healthy Nurse Practitioner.
