About me
My name is Dr. Nicte Flores and I am an ob-gyn. I love my job. I have the great privilege of guiding women through multiple stages of their lives, from adolescence, to the joy of pregnancy, through motherhood, and ultimately assisting them through their transition to menopause.
Biography
I grew up in Southern California. I went to UC San Diego for undergraduate school and then UC Irvine for both medical school and residency. I have been with Kaiser Permanente since 2000.
About my practice
As an obstetrician and gynecologist, I have a very special opportunity to connect with women in a meaningful way. I recognize the importance of providing personalized care for my patients that encompasses compassion as well as comprehensive attention to all aspects of a woman's life. I believe that medical care should focus not only on healing and treatment of disease but also on the prevention of illness and promotion of wellness. In addition to focusing on health maintenance, I specialize in minimally invasive medical and surgical treatments for a variety of gynecologic conditions. My goal at each visit is to listen well, address all your concerns, and explain your treatment options in easy-to-understand language. The close relationships I have formed with my patients bring me great satisfaction as we journey through life's experiences together. It's gratifying to play a role in women's health care.
How I thrive
I am also a proud mother of three children and the wife of a wonderful husband. I enjoy my time to be well balanced outside of the hospital. This allows me to be a better physician. A goal of mine is to exercise regularly, which helps keep my mind sharp and energy level high. I enjoy yoga, reading, traveling, and most of all, spending quality time with my family.
