About me
Hello! My name is Dr. Mary Zaki and I am a high-risk pregnancy doctor. I truly love my job! I have the privilege of taking care of women with complicated pregnancies and guiding them through what can be the most difficult or joyful time in their lives.
Biography
I was born in Cairo, Egypt and immigrated with my family at the age of 7 years old. I grew up in Oregon and then ventured out to Seattle and Chicago for my medical training. I am so happy to settle down in beautiful and sunny Southern California with my husband and 2 children!
About my practice
As a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist, I enjoy seeing women who have high-risk pregnancies. This can include women who have medical comorbidities such as hypertension or diabetes during pregnancy, recurrent preterm delivery, twin or higher order multiples, and fetal anomalies. I enjoy providing care for women in conjunction with our excellent team of general obstetrician/gynecologists, midwives, and nurse practitioners in Kaiser Permanente Orange County. I also perform diagnostic prenatal ultrasound and provide counseling to patients throughout their pregnancy. My goal is to listen carefully, address all my patients' concerns and educate them so that they can make the best choice for themselves and their family. It is an absolute honor to be a part of this organization and to take care of women on a daily basis. It was always my dream since childhood to be an obstetrician and take care of women--I am truly living the dream now!
How I thrive
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially my two children Jacob and Julianna. I also enjoy shopping, traveling, cooking, hiking and running.
