About me
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my physician Web page! I truly feel that it is an honor to be a Kaiser Permanente physician, and I look forward to working together with women of Orange Country to take care of their reproductive health.
Biography
While I love the sunny weather in Southern California, I am not a native of the Golden State. I was born and raised in the Midwest, spending time in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. I attended college at the University of Notre Dame and medical school at Indiana University. I finally made my way out to California for my residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at UC Irvine. It is in California that I reconnected with my fourth grade crush, fell in love, got married, and planted my California roots.
About my practice
I love being a physician in the field of obstetrics and gynecology because it offers me the opportunity to be an advocate for women's health. It is my hope that if I am given the honor to be your doctor that I will provide you with quality healthcare in a comfortable setting. I want my patients to feel that there is no reason to feel ashamed or embarrassed to talk to me about anything. I like to think that I am a good listener and enjoy spending time talking with my patients, even if it means running a little behind.
How I thrive
What I enjoy doing when I'm not working is spending time with my family. My husband and daughter are my biggest fans, and we enjoy taking trips camping together on the weekends. I also love to travel. Before my daughter was born, I spent a lot of time living in Central and South America, and for this reason, I am fluent in Spanish. I really enjoy interacting with people from different countries and cultures. This makes it so that I am always learning from others.
