Welcome to my Web page! I’m honored and delighted to introduce myself and share my personal and professional life experiences with you.
Biography
I was born in Iran and then immigrated to Spain, Canada, and Southern California (Los Angeles). This has allowed me to cope with new challenges, adapt to unfamiliar environments, and experience different cultures in different levels of economic development. My experiences have taught me that medicine is a calling, a passion, a nuanced combination of science and imagination. This has allowed me to better understand my members and allow me to treat each person individually with compassionate care.
About my practice
I am a board-certified ob/gyn and really love what I do! My specialties include evaluating pediatric/adolescent members all the way through the postmenopausal period, as well as pregnancy and birth. I’m very interested in preventive medicine and making healthy lifestyle changes to prevent disease, as well as carefully listening and understanding my members’ emotional needs. It is important to help explain medicine in easy terms and confirm that my members feel supported and understand everything from their visits. My special interests include contraception management and treatment of STDs, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, pregnancy, surgeries (I am skilled in minimally invasive procedures), and pediatric medicine.
How I thrive
I feel it is very important to maintain a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle. I enjoy working out at the gym, hiking with my husband, playing tennis, playing piano, and travelling.
