About me
I am pleased to introduce myself as a member of your healthcare team. My partners and I are committed to providing you with excellent healthcare.
Biography
I am originally from Southern California, but have traveled to many parts of the country and the world. I attended college in the Boston area and lived in France for one year while in college. I am married to another Kaiser Permanente physician, and I am proud to provide health care for all of our members, which includes the families and friends of many of our own employees and providers. As a woman myself, I am passionate about providing sensitive, professional care to women through all stages of their lives.
About my practice
I have a general Ob/Gyn practice where I care for both normal and complicated pregnancies as well as provide complete gynecology services. My specialty areas include office sterilization (called the Essure® procedure) and other minimally-invasive surgical techniques, such as laparoscopic hysterectomy. I am also interested in incontinence and strongly believe that we can work together to improve our patients' quality of life. I enjoy being on the cutting edge of new technology and advances in health care, and I take pride in bringing innovation to our organization. I am honored to serve my colleagues at the assistant chief of the Ob/Gyn Department.
How I thrive
I ruptured my Achilles tendon playing racquetball a while ago and have had two surgeries to repair it. I am feeling much better now and am looking forward to getting back into the activities I enjoy, including hiking, mountain biking, and racquetball. I also like to spend some creative energy on cooking, which has not been good for my waist line, but I have made a promise to myself to get back into shape, by eating better, exercising, and trying to minimize stress. It's not easy, but we can all do it!
