Biography
I grew up in Columbus, Ohio. I moved to Southern California in 1999 and have loved it. Outside of work, I spend all of my time with my husband and 3 children enjoying the outdoors. We love to ski, mountain bike, and hike. My extracurricular activities have included some adventure travel to the Amazon jungle and climbing Cotopaxi in Ecuador. I also have done some volunteer work in Haiti, Guerrero, Mexico, the Navajo Indian Reservation in Monument Valley, Utah, the Appalachian mountains of West Virginia and Kentucky, and various Homeless and HIV clinics. Before joining Kaiser Permanente I was in private practice at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
About my practice
I practice general OB/GYN. I love OB/GYN because it allows me to form a special bond with my patients encompassing all the stages of life from adolescence, childbearing, menopause and after. I try to take into account the whole person (their mind, body and spirit) in my treatment plan and try to relate to patients as I would any family member. I feel so privileged to be part of a fantastic team at Kaiser Permanente.
How I thrive
I try to balance work and play. I love to eat good food and enjoy cooking when I have time. I love music and going to concerts every chance we get, in between all the activities that 3 children can get into.
