About me

Hello! Thank you for visiting my web page. I am happy to take this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente and look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I was born in the south, but raised in southern California. I went to undergraduate school at UCLA and then obtained my Masters in Public Health at the University of Arizona. I moved to the east coast for medical school where I attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina. I practiced medicine for two years in North Carolina but missed sunny California and decided to come back home. I joined the Kaiser family in 2011.

About my practice

I decided to become a physician after serving on a medical mission trip to Mexico while in high school. I have always had a special interest in taking care of women and women's issues due to my family history of ovarian cancer. I want to assist women in being advocates for their health. I believe it is an honor to serve and assist you with your health care. My goal is to treat every patient as I would my own family. At Kaiser, we work with a team of physicians, certified nurse midwives and nurse practitioners to give you the best care possible. My practice encompasses care of routine and complicated obstetrical and gynecological conditions. I have a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and office based procedures. I also enjoy research in efforts to find new ways to improve the overall health care for our patients. I still enjoy volunteering my time in medical missions.

How I thrive

I believe it is very important to have a balance in life and to take time to remember what really matters. I feel blessed to work in an organization that supports work-life balance. I run regularly and do cross fit to relieve stress. I absolutely love to be outdoors and especially like hiking. Travelig to new places is one of my favorite things to do. I am a single mom of two beauiful children and I love to take them with me on our adventures.
