Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have the chance to introduce myself. It is so important that you feel comfortable with your obstetrician/gynecologist; the doctor-patient relationship is unique in this area, as women's health issues are very intimate.
Biography
I consider myself native to Southern California and was fortunate to have done all my medical training here. I went into medicine because I wanted to make a tangible difference in people's lives. I chose obstetrics and gynecology because it is a unique field in which I get to share so many important events in a woman's life, from the first menses to starting a family and, later, issues unique to menopause and beyond.
About my practice
I consider myself very approachable and pride myself on listening to your concerns to ensure that your needs are met. I also like to be very thorough. While I enjoy all areas of women's health, I have additional training and experience with nonsurgical tubal sterilization; hysteroscopic office procedures, including endometrial ablations; and advanced laparoscopic procedures, such as laparoscopic hysterectomies. Of course, these procedures are only recommended if traditional therapy is not effective and these are your desires. I also have a special interest in teenagers and young women, as their concerns need to be addressed in a very sensitive manner, and I like to ensure open lines of communication between each young woman and myself.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is important to me. My family time is precious and I am proud to be a mother. I adore my children and husband and they fill up my free time. We like to stay active together, whether we are going boating, traveling, or running around at the park. We are so lucky to reside in Orange County and always try to make the most of the beautiful scenery and weather we are blessed with.
