Welcome to my Web page. I feel it is very important for patients to have some background on their physicians and I hope that the information here helps you get to know me better.
Biography
I grew up in Orange County. I attended undergraduate college at Stanford University, where I decided I wanted to pursue a career in medicine - specifically in women's health after I had the opportunity to do volunteer work in women's health care at the university hospital. After completing my medical school and residency training, I served as a faculty member in the Ob/Gyn Department at UC San Diego. While I was there, I enjoyed taking care of patients in my own practice. I also taught and trained medical students and Ob/Gyn residents.
About my practice
I believe the physician/patient relationship is a very unique one and I feel privileged to be part of it. As your physician, I hope to empower you with information so that you can face your medical issues as an informed patient. I also see our relationship as a partnership to help prevent illness and promote health.
